Whole30 – Day 24 Snow Day

Snow day!

My biggest fur babies enjoying the outdoors. Okay, to be honest, the big one LOVES the cold weather. The little one doesn’t have much fur and would rather be on the couch.

I bet I don’t have to tell you what breakfast was.  Coffee! with the magical creamy coconut milk creamer. All homemade by my own little hands.   I make and serve my creamer out of a Mason jar.  Did you know that most blender blades will fit a Mason jar perfectly?  They will! Check it out here.  Then I added one of these instead of the standard lid because I’m something of a slob.  It works like a charm!

IMG_2732The other part of breakfast.  I didn’t have work today so I had time to whip up a gorgeous breakfast.  2 slices no sugar added bacon, collard greens sauteed in the bacon grease, 2 eggs over easy topped with salsa and a splash of homemade mayo.  OMG! Soooo good!

I did a Wii Zumba workout today followed by some Wii Yoga. I really need something with a little more stretching.  If anyone has a Wii Yoga custom program I would love to have a copy. I don’t know if there is a rule about what order poses need to be in or not.  All the poses are really basic and nothing I haven’t done before.  I pretty much ignore the “hold the red dot in the yellow” circle instructions and focus on form and breathing.

After the workout I had a little egg salad made with homemade mayo and more salsa. (it’s veggies right?)

Around 4PM I got hungry again so I ran in the kitchen for left-overs.

IMG_2739Those ribs… I could eat those things every day.  I added a bit of homemade barbecue sauce. It’s very good, even without the added honey.  The baked potato has a big chunk of ghee melting inside it.

It’s back to work now.  I hope we don’t get more of this ice and snow.  My commute is too long for me to be comfortable with it.
