Whole30- Day 19

Day 19. I think I kind of like this whole real food eating. I haven’t had anything out of a plastic wrapper in 24 days.

In case your new here and wondering why my days are off it’s because the first 5 says included some meats with hidden sugar. Most of the Whole30 forbidden foods I’ve been without for 24 days. Except sugar, that’s 19 days. So my official count is 19 days.

24 days of no baked goods, no candy, no diet coke, no pasta, no bread, no cheese. Do I miss them? Yeah, a little. Do I feel better without them? You bet! Until you get through all the chemical withdrawal you really have no idea how good you can feel. How many less aches and pains you have.

I constantly get asked “what can you eat?” My answer “any veggie, any fruit, any meat”. I like experimenting with veggies and Coach is an excellent cooker if meats.

For instant, today’s lunch was a bed of spinach topped with a Mustard Lime Chicken breast. Accompanied with roasted acorn squash and roasted rutabaga. I topped all that with a diced avocado and at the last minute added grilled shrimp. What’s not to love?
