I ran out of strips and stopped tracking my glucose for a while. I just bought some new ones a few days ago and after a day filled with 3 mini snickers and some coconut gelato decided I had better see what kind of damage I’m doing.
I know I haven’t completely reversed the damage I’ve done with years of high carb eating but I’m working on it.
I have co-workers tell me I eat too restrictive. My reply is that I’m getting fit, from the inside out. I’m healing my metabolic issues and in the process I’ve lost nearly 20 pounds this year. I’m on my way to a long healthy wonderful life.
