It’s time for another fabulous riveting breathtaking episode of Shrinkvivor Weigh-in.  This week has been crap for our Exhiled contestant DebC. The fall allergy season is in full swing bringing with it enough post-nasal drip to fill an Olympic size swimming pools, low-grade fevers, and sleepless nights. In fact, every night is a sleepless night for DebC since she feels like she’s drowning in her own snot night after night and has enough tickle in her throat to fill a bordello.

There are meds… the benadryl, which makes the morning after worse than if she hadn’t taken anything at all.

The Sudafed, which she isn’t allowed to take due to the wigged-out thyroid.

The netipot, which doesn’t seem to help the post-nasal drownings.

Add this up and what do you get?

One very tired, grumpy, and non-active Exhiled resident.

But the week wasn’t a complete loss. Here are the highlights pics.

Saturday was the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, Central GA style. Our fearless contestant ran in honor her relatives.

Forever loved and missed.

And ran in celebration of the friends win.

True heroines.

Eva is a new survivor and Karen is a 5-10 year survivor.

Running mates, Team Tanner V. That’s Team Tanner 5.  These are pediatricians she works with. 2 ran the race, 1 walked the race with a friend.  Deb ran/walked the race and finished in a modest 43:27. The team name came from final of stage of puberty that find the breast fully formed. Sort of an inside joke for a team full of pediatric medical professionals.

Dr. Jessica, Deb, Dr. Lindsey, Dr. Charli

Now to this week’s weigh-in. <cue drum roll>  The contestant gingerly steps on the scale and…..

a 3.5 lb loss for the week!

<applause erupts, the crowd goes wild>  This is a 3 lb loss for the challenge. Not spectacular but encouraging for this middle age Mom with some problematic health issues.

Let’s hope she can hold onto that this week as we move into the final week of the challenge and end the month with new digits.

Yeah for you! good job, especially with all the nasal crap!

WOWOWOW! 3lbs is awesome!! I am sorry you were feeling under the weather, I was/am still sick as well. So proud of you for participating in the race! I only hope that I have this opportunity in the future!

Hang in there with your allergies… Such a pain! Very inspiring to see your race pictures. My mom is an almost 20 year breast cancer survivor, so the Komen is very close to my heart! Love the team name too… I work in peds, so I got it immediately! Have a great week to come!

I’m sorry you haven’t been feeling well. Hopefully you start to feel better soon.

Way to go on your loss and your race!

Great loss!! I totally understand the allergy problems…I suffer from them, too. So proud of you for the 5K you walked/ran…great time for that! Loved your monologue!!

Rotten allergies! I hope they’re starting to pass and you’re feeling much better! Congrats on the Race for the Cure participation despite feeling lousy and on the loss for the challenge! THAT’S what it’s all about.

Awesome job on rocking the challenge!!!!!!!
