Finally Getting Fit

Beautiful Blogger Award

Posted on: June 3, 2010

The rules of this award state that I need to pass it on to 7 bloggers and write 7 things about myself that you did not know…

I’m passing this award to:

BK in The Fit Lounge

Emilia 238 and Shrinking

Kimbo Bye 25! (Hello 26.2!)

Lori Finding Radiance

Paula at Madame: The Journey of a Weight Loss*ista

The Monkey and Me

Salina Lyn: Becoming a Thinner Sexier Me

If you already have it. Hey that’s great. Now you have it again 🙂 I don’t enforce the rules.  I don’t like having strings attached to gifts.

The 7 things you don’t know about me.

The 7 things you don’t know is a lot easier than the 7 bloggers.  Since I haven’t been at this blogging thing very long I don’t know many bloggers and the ones I do know already have this beautiful badge on their sidebar.

1. My tattoo was designed by my daughter… when she was 13 years old. A tribal style heart with our 4 initials hidden inside. One day I’m going to have the guts to get some color put on it.

2. My nickname in high school was Porky. At least until my Senior year when the instigator came up to me and said “I guess I need to find you a new name. You’re not much of a Porky anymore.” Hey Paul, I’m Porky again.

3.  I have great work ethic at work but at home I just want to sit on my buns and REST.

4. I love to play scratch lottery but feel guilty for wasting the money. Even though I have a very low $$ limit and don’t play very often.

5.  I spent 20 years as an Air Force spouse. 1 child born in the the US. 1 child born in Japan. I don’t regret the time we served but I would never ever do it again.

6. I have many regrets and find it hard to forgive myself of mistakes I have made. Especially those that hurt other people.

7. I think feet or gross. As an x-ray technologist I sometimes have to touch feet. I always wear gloves and wash my hands like a crazy woman afterward. Just the thought makes me cringe. Ewwww.

Debra,
Those were fun to read about you. I struggle with #6 too… always working on forgiving myself. That’s funny how you feel about feet… well not funny but you know, interesting. We all have those things that make us cringe! 🙂
